Always wanting to make my own hippy-themed tee shirts , I finally
got to know how and also went back home with a few tees of my own ! Yay !
Dylon Dye Sachets

Here
is the basic instruction to create your own tie dye tees ! Remember ,
Dylon hand dye sachets are ideal for making the colour stand out in your
creations. Be it on clothes , pillowcases , napkins etc.
And in 10 simple steps , you can be proud owner of your own tie dye tee shirt ! I am psyched!!! :)
Instructions -
1. Wash and leave fabric damp
2.Prepare fabric as instructed ( you can choose which style to follow , i followed the spiral design)
3.Using gloves , dissolve dye in 500ml warm water
4.Fill bowl with 6 litres of warm water (around 40 degrees celcius)
5.Stir 250g(4tbsp) salt , then regularly for 45 minutes.
6.Submerge fabric in water
7.Stir for 15 minutes, then regularly for 45minutes.
8.Without untying the fabric , rinse in cold water until water runs clear. Then untie and wash in warm water.
9. Dry away from direct heat and sunlight.
10. Wash separately for the first few washes to remove any excess dye.

Thats why when i found out foodpanda is around and online , i decided to give it a try. Gone are the days of only getting a few choices of food delivered to you. Foodpanda has an array of restaurants that they deliver for.
For me , its way cooler that Room Service Malaysia based on a few reasons. -

And on time. Nasi Lemak Express 's Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang priced at RM7.80 . Lunch comes knocking.
The first thing that i found appealing was the simple packaging that it came in. The foil container retained the heat and it was divine to inhale the aroma of the rendang and the nasi upon opening the 'package' . The second winning point is the dish's preparation that was clean and proper. Portions was porportionate which included - Adequate rice , anchovies and nuts , (an exquisite tasting dried prawn sambal originating only from the east coast of malaysia) , cucumbers , and a piece of chicken rendang with rendang sauce. All packed neatly in the package. It is easy eating , as how eating should be.
Now , here comes the magic - It is exceptionally tasty !!! You can tell that the chicken rendang was done well as it was soft and very tender. The sambal is distinctly good - sweet and spicy , the egg - fresh and the anchovies crispy. All in , the overall taste was above par and very satisfactory. Its good to know that Nasi Lemak Express maintains its food quality in its dishes even in high volume orders ( we ordered 10 packets at RM78.00 - the minimum online order amount).

Now you might think , a band is as important as the music they give us. And in a continuation on a linear , time , progress seems inevitable. And in that course, many bands lose the shine.
Its hard to place Angles , The Strokes 5th and latest album anywhere in between the previous four. It is progress indeed in my eyes (1st album - awesomer than many other bands-2nd album awesomer than many other bands- 3rd album awesomer than many other bands- 4th album awesomer- 5th album awesomer than many other bands).
For the songs they make now , although sounds alike with the others earlier , it has its very very very vivid identity. An identity that only a band like the strokes can deliver , at the end of the 1st quarter of 2011. The freedom in its songs are superb! The way its allowed to shape. in sweet sweet angles!
You can say that the album was hurried and actually , it was. It was actually recorded in 2 plus months. For me , thats just great ! and sad. Cos imagine what a band like the strokes is capable of if they really really really devote their time to create an album for the fans . Epic!
Fuck Yeah!!! Its beautiful!!!
Machu Picchu is funky. Nikolai Fraiture's bass keeps its on...fabs drums kick in the funk love at the same time and the album gets going... Ohhhh La La.... The guitar works are sharp and indie at its finest . A distinct sound in an ocean of bands . Seems like they're talking bout the US of A . CiviLIEsation that is the topic perhaps.
Under cover of darkness is set to be their first chart buster. Their first single of the album , this song is hauntingly good. Nick's lead guitarworks are great ... nice licks n all with a sweet drop beat and up again! Sweet lyrics , lines like "wont just be a puppet on a string" shows their rebel spirit in their works.
Two kinds of happiness has a different julian vocals ... poppish like his solo album kinda stuff. And it gets in a barrage of awesome drumming and guitar works when its chorus time. Nice vocals though ( my fav of the album)
Youre so right is one of the dark ones... pissed of at the ways you live you life perhaps...fast and repetetive , instruments and vocals ...like lines such as " im done with the office , im done with the office , im done with the office , hello forest...." A lesson to be learned in this song hey.
Taken for a fool is such a funky sounding song. Julian's deeper voice is matured in this song i reckon ..screaming 'Momma!!' The beat is so retro! valensi's lead is the shit. Monday tuesday is my weekends...nice.
Games has an Julian solo album intro feel....It heightens very well...take ur pick which part ud like...its got a good slow but fast sounding fab moretti , nice keyboards..a good nice long wavy phrases of nice ambience and boom! its over. next song.
Call me back is the slower one of the album...I love the lyrics . then again , its all very appealling to me , all the lyrics thats the strokes.
Gratisfaction has that vintage the strokes intro.... gets us dancing in front of the mirror. Ah man....sweet chorus. Albert hammond junior , with his new clean cut hair style is awesome man..... this band is so toight!!!!!! funky toight!!! nikolai is a madman on the bass!
Metabolism has a sweet sweet sweet sound. Dark and sweet!!!!! Screaming LIKE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! Kinda like a glorified indie version of Matt Bellamy of the muse. Its the shit.
Life is simple in the moonlight is a great outro. Not only by its name , that buskebulan loves. hehe. But in its delivery. Hammond works hard and plays the rhythm pure (god) , so does nick valensi(god) , julian keeps it cool and beautiful in words and lyrics (although the input if the band is always 5 ways) , so does nikolai (god) ...and moretti keeps the love and the beats as sweet as it gets (GOD).
Oh yeah , julian was deep in alcohol...he then got sober (or maybe just a hoax for proper personal image?)...for 3 years plus now i think....so ..yeah... beautiful isnt it...with or without whatevers , wonderful things are whirled inwards towards us -> the audience , fans , critics and whoever else thats glued on the strokes.

With so many new bands surfacing in many genres , 2010 has kept up well with its explosions. Featured here , are many good debut albums as well.
Had a hard time to choose who i wanted to put down here cos there are so many good albums this year.So many didnt make the cut - MGMT, The Futureheads, Serj Tankian, Minus The Bear, I Was A Teenage Satan Worshipper, Owen Pallet, Comeback Kid, These New Puritans, Vampire Weekend, Sufjan Stevens, Caribou, Wild Nothing, The Courteeners, Gorillaz, The Whigs, Wolf Parade, The Concretes, Holy Fuck, Hurts, Sleigh Bells, God Is An Astronaut, Japandriods, The New Pornographers, We Call It A Sound, Gogol Bordello and many more. Not that their shit wasnt good. Its just that the ones below truly stand out for me...plus i didnt have the time to dl ! As it goes .....................
And its sad , cos somehow there are new music that im stumbling upon , but its hard to find proper download links. Deerhunter's latest , halcyon digest is a must to download soon. Their song "Revival" is cool. Cos its hard, im kinda not bothered trying to find a good link to other good good bands like no age(check out song eraser) , dinosaur feathers (check out song family waves) at the moment. Known for their great indie-alt-rock songs such as "A Million Ways" and "Here It Goes Again" and their high concept, low budget, one-shot music videos
My favorite tracks? Well , all 13 songs are good. I personally like "This Too Shall Pass" , "End Love" , "WTF" , "Skyscrapers" , "I Want You So Bad I Cant Breathe" and "White Knuckles" . Nobody's Coming to Save You is the second studio album by British indie band The Sunshine Underground, the follow up to their 2006 album, Raise the Alarm.
The Sunshine Underground are an Leeds based indie rock band. The Sunshine Underground play a variety of punk, funk and indie rock styles as heard in their songs. Tunes are catchy and fresh. Though songs are simple and not as heavy as the klaxons or late of the pier , TSU is deemed to be a new rock-rave movement treasure (thanks to a producer who made it so , barny or something).
My favorite tracks are "We've Always Been Your Friend" , "In Your Arms" , "Change Your Mind" and "Here It Comes" . All 10 tracks are good ones. Enjoy my selection below of a track titled "Here It Comes"
Innerspeaker is the debut album by Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala. (what a fucking band!!!)
Tame Impala had previously released four small podcast snippets of their album following to their release, showing them practicing the songs, "Expectations", "The Bold Arrow of Time", "Island Walking" and another instrumental piece. The album consist of two re-recorded songs, "Desire Be Desire Go" (previously released on their self-titled EP) and "The Bold Arrow of Time".
I love all tracks from this awesome album ! But if i had to choose , it would be "Alterego", "Solitude Is Bliss" , "Desire be Desire Go" and "Lucidity" . Trip to Tame Impala man. Here is "Alter ego".
Romance Is Boring is the third studio album by British indie pop band Los Campesinos!.
Los Campesinos! are an eight piece indie pop band that met at Cardiff, Wales that formed in early 2006 at Cardiff University.
I am so happy to find this band. Their style is fucking sweet. Strong distinct vocals to crazy old skool punk riffs with an electro feel . More towards noise punk than pop actually...
There are 15 tracks in the album. My favorite tracks are " Romance Is Boring" , "These Are Listed Buildings" , "We've Got Your Back" and "Plan A" . Here is Romance Is Boring.

I love their sound. I love this whole feel that they give. Surf rock bands like Real Estate , Surfer Blood , The Drums , Wavves all share the love i have for lo-fi surf rock recordings. Just awesome! 2010 is a good year for surf rock. :)
Songs worth checking out ( though all 13 tracks are good) , are "Crazy For You" , "The End" , "When Im With You" and "Happy" . Here , enjoy When Im With You.

Love his songs. From the 1st album till this one. This album is much more mellow than the earlier releases. Coming from a personal favorite album of 2009 (hombre lobo) , Eels has kept the torch burning. Good stuff Mr.E!!!

Neon Trees is a rock band, from USA who came to light when they used to open for The Killers on several occasions.

Transference is the seventh studio album by indie rock band Spoon.
Spoon is an American indie rock band formed in Austin, Texas.
Now this album , for me , has more funky tracks that the previous released ones. Coming out from two previous successful albums - Gimme Fiction and Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga , Transference proves a big success as well , peaking to No 4 on the US Album Charts when it was released.
Good album this one. Good stuff from the guys at spoon. Out of the 11 tracks made , my favorite tracks are "Mystery Zone" , "Who Makes Your Money" , "Written In Reverse" , and "I Saw The Light" . Here is " Mystery Zone" .

High Violet is the fifth studio album by The National . For me , its their third master piece in a row. Awesome album with great great critical acclaim.( The album debuted at #3 on the US Billboard , and achieving likewise results all over europe) .

This dude reminds of Bob Dylan , only with a higher pitched voice. Awesome songs. Got to know bout him when i was really into Bon Iver , where this dude opened for Bon Iver in his US tours. Fell in love with the music ever since. One of my favorite albums of 2010 fo'sho! Great songs here !!!! Please listen !!! Here is the beautiful " Love Is All "
